Riding Camps

This year we are offering two sessions of Pony Camp over the Summer Break at Holly Hill. Please sign up early because pony camps are always a huge hit with the kids. Children between the ages of 7-12 will learn to ride, improve their skills, groom and learn basic horsemanship skills in a safe and fun environment.

Camp activities begin at 9.00 am and end at 3.30 pm (pick up between 3.15 and 3.30pm).  The campers will ride each morning in a formal lesson and in an afternoon “pony game” which could include mounted game, bareback riding or trail riding.

In addition to "pony fun", our campers will enjoy other camp activities such as arts and crafts, scavenger hunts and games. 

All of our saddles are equipped with safety stirrups, and we offer ASTM safety approved helmets to lend during our camp. All campers are required to have their own riding pants (breeches, jodphurs or leggings) and paddock boots, or equivalent boots with a small heel.

Campers are required to bring their lunch, a refillable water bottle, snacks a change of clothes and gloves. Our lounge has a fridge and microwave and washroom for the campers to use.
